PANCREASE-V - Companion Animal

Description:

Pancrease-V is derived from whole porcine pancreas and contains standardized activities of amylase, protease and lipase as well as esterase, peptidase, nuclease and elastase. Pancrease-V is recommended as a digestive aid and a replacement therapy where digestion of protein carbohydrate or liquid is inadequate due to exocrine pancreatic insuffieciency.

Powder:

•  Dogs: 1-1 1/2 tsp (2.8 to 4.2 g) with each meal
•  Cats: 1/2 - 3/4 tsp (1.4 to 2.1 g) with each meal

Note:

No one regimen will be successful for every patient. The above dosages should be adjusted according to the severity of exocrine pancreatic insufficiency and the weight of the animal. Animals surviving acute pancreatitis should be placed on a bland and easily digested diet and supplemented with Pancrease™-V until normal pancreatic function is restored. Chronic pancreatitis requires replacement therapy for the duration of the animal’s life.

PRECAUTIONS:
Store in a tightly closed container in a dry place at room temperature not exceeding 25°C.
