Description
Made of durable silicone, this catheter can be autoclaved many times for reuse. The extended length (4 - 6 inches longer than a standard Foley catheter) make it ideal for uterine horn flushes of deep-bodied mature cows, without creating excessive dead space in front of the tubing 'Y' on virgin heifers. The distal end is molded with an internal cup to receive our specially designed stylette. Four off-set ports at the distal end ensure a high flow rate. The internal cup and off-set hole placement prevent the stylette from protruding from the side of the catheter during repositioning. Both the 30cc and 5cc cuff (balloon) are concentric, keeping the catheter tip free in the lumen of the uterine horn, ensuring full recoveries.
